Seeker of Truth

Self

An aspirant should not watch the ever-changing conditions, but direct his attention to the non-changeable entity (Self).

The Drops of Nectar··

The self is desireless. Selfishness arises from a link with matter.

The Drops of Nectar··

The body and other material things are ever- changing. One who perceives thus, never changes. That is why no change is ever noticed in the Self.

The Drops of Nectar··

The being, in reality, is free from the sense of doership and devoid of pleasure and pain. But due to error it regards itself as the doer and associating itself with the fruits of actions it becomes happy or unhappy.

The Drops of Nectar··

Only due to our association with actions and material things, we do not have Self-realization.

The Drops of Nectar··

Our body exists in the world, but ourself (self) is vested in God.

The Drops of Nectar··

The self is Pure Existence not ego. Giving up ego, realise the natural stay of the Self in Pure Existence.

The Drops of Nectar··

We ourselves are the 'Self' not different from it. If it is difficult to know it, what could be easy?

The Drops of Nectar··

Our Existence is not subordinated to a thing, person or action.

The Drops of Nectar··

The Self is 'Pure Existence', 'Pure Being'. To mix anything with it is ignorance and bondage.

The Drops of Nectar··

The self is not subordinate to the body, but the body is subordinate to the self. It means that self without body can remain, but our body could not live without the self.
