Renunciation

Complete renunciation prevails only when there is absolutely no vanity about it. Pride comes when the importance of given up things is stamped on the inner faculty. Therefore, it is better to discard the importance of a thing, rather than its abandonment.

So long as, there is some interest in any person or thing truly there is no renunciation, till then.

Love, anger, myness and attachment etc., when we know how to acquire these, we also would know how to give these up. But in fact, we do not wish to do so, so we seem helpless.

Salvation is achieved by the renunciation of desire and not by giving up of things.

The body never comes to our help, but it is the giving up of 'I'-ness and 'my-ness' in the body, that helps.

The body and world, by themselves, are separating from ourselves but that does not lead to our salvation (Kalyāņa). To give up a disjointed thing, and withdraw your 'I'ness and 'my-ness' from the same, then only you will have salvation.

By having the importance of riches in the inner faculty (mind, intellect and ego), the discarding of riches appears important. But by giving these up, one gets the vanity of renunciation, therefore, the vanity of renunciation, the importance of money signifies in our view.

By renunciation, one makes spiritual progress and things become pure. By enjoying these things, man degrades himself and such things are destroyed.

Man by himself enjoys and wants others to renounce this is not just. If he likes renunciation, then why does he not renunciate.

In reality, renunciation is that in which the vanity of renunciation is also abandoned.
