By seeking happiness, the inner faculty becomes impure and by giving happiness, it acquires piety.

Treating a body as 'I', 'mine' and 'for me', feelings of 'taking' things, arise.

Maintain relations with others, only to serve them. Should you retain relations to seek something, then you will face unhappiness.

To give away in charity after taking it, is not as good, as not taking at all.

Not taking anything, is a greater act of virtue comparatively, than receiving it and then giving it away. However, there are few people, who can understand this.

It is a sin to take anything from this world, but to give it away, is pious.

To make ourselves happy, even our body is not ours and to give happiness to others (by service), the entire world is ours.

The desire for 'taking' makes man a slave and only by the wish to 'give', one becomes a master.

The feelings for taking something makes it a 'Bhoga', and the wish to give it away is 'Yoga'.

The body has to be provided with water, food, clothing, as necessary, but one should not be a recepient of these things by establishing a bond with the body. 'Taking' is bondage, while 'giving' is salvation.
